Fall 2004

Working on a paper for a journal or a conference? Starting a textbook? Writing poetry or stories or a novel? Thinking about writing a family history or travel article? Doing some free lance writing?

Why not join the Writers' Group, a friendly group of colleagues who meet to read one anothers' work and share questions and insights? All are welcome no matter what your subject or project. We have only one requirement: a writer whose shared work is published must supply the champagne for the toasts.

Our first meeting will be Wednesday, September 19, from 2 to 3:30 in Accokeek 219 (inside the library office on the second floor). We 'll plan for the rest of the semester and discuss Anne King's and Mary Stevenson's papers.
