The Ready Reference-WWW page is one of the important pages of the
Library's Web site that should be used as a starting point to begin
developing your research. This page contains selected electronic versions
of Web resources that are available in print format. The sources are
linked by title and are listed under a reference category. This page
is accessible from the left menu and at the bottom of each page from
the Web site. It is also accessible from the Electronic Library page.
Click on Ready
Reference-WWW to begin your research. Next click on a reference
heading to find a title(s) of source(s). One way to begin your research
is to identify sources that linked under a headings such as:
Bibliographies, Guides, and Gateways
Click on Academic
Info, a gateway to quality education Web sites, and enter
a keyword search such as counter terrorism AND America AND
intelligence
Another approach is to select a subheading with multiple links
called Metasites.
Current Events and News - Metasites
Click on TotalNews
to major news sites and click on the link to each site or search
the site.
Click in the search box and type a Boolean search such as counterterrorism
AND "United States" AND intelligence
Select the approximate link(s) from the news articles listed.
