Accessing the Online Catalog

Accessing the Local Catalog

To get started searching the online public access catalog (OPAC), it is important to understand how to access it. If the screen is blank, except for the icon marked "Voyager OPAC," double click on the icon.

Look at the buttons at the top of the screen and select "Local Catalog", the icon that has the books.

Searching the Catalog

Next, click Search from the tool bar to select the type of search that you want or select Search from the menu and select your method of searching.

To perform a Keyword, Subject/Author/Title, Boolean Keyword, or Guided Keyword search, click on one of the search tabs.
